Alan Dall, Martha Kulikowski and Durand Mailman were awarded 2014 Sports Hero's Awards for their volunteerism with sports in their communities.

The noontime luncheon held at Hero's Sports Grill in downtown Bangor, the award partner with Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.

Durand Mailman

Durand has contributed to the Town of Corinth Recreation Department and RSU 64 for the last 15 years. Durand has volunteered his time coaching soccer and baseball. Additionally he has worked to maintain playing fields and has constructed soccer goals for the rec department using his own materials. Durand also serves on the RSU 64 school board.

Martha Kulikowski

Martha is President of the Belfast Booster Club, where she helped raise funds and got donations to construct a new concession stand for football and soccer this year. She has been involved Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball in Belfast, and this year helped raise funds to bring American Legion Baseball back to the area. Martha can often be found helping to car pool kids and pick up trash after games.

Alan Dall

Alan has been with the Bangor High School Booster Club for 14 years and is currently the treasurer. He is the person that keeps the concession stands stocked for all sports and can be found cooking in the fry wagon at all football games. Alan also volunteered many years as a Little League softball coach.
