AE Playoffs Next [VIDEO]

The UMaine women's basketball team earned at least a share of the America East Conference regular season title with a 69-37 blowout of Binghamton.

Now the Bears wait for Albany's game today - a Great Danes loss would give the Black Bears the outright title.

At the Cross Center in Bangor, Maine ran its win streak to 12 and the home win streak to 19. The Bears finish the regular season at 24-7 and 14-1 in AE.

Sigi Koizar led Maine with 19 points.

The America East playoffs begin for the Black Bears next weekend in Binghamton, NY.

At Binghamton, NY,  the UMaine men's team lost 76-68. That means the Bears finish the regular season at 8-21 overall and 4-12.

Freshman Isaac Van led Maine in scoring with 26.

The Bears begin AE playoff action on Wednesday as a #6 seed and will play at #3 Vermont at 7:30pm.
