The UMaine men's basketball season ended Wednesday night with the Vermont Catamounts taking the Bears to the woodshed 86-41 in the America East quarterfinal playoff game.

Maine finishes the year 7-25. UVM improves to 27-5 and keeps rolling with a 19 game winning streak.

AE Rookie of the Year, Anthony Lamb led UVM with 23 points.
