18-year-old Cole Anderson from Camden finished in a tie for 22nd place in the Southern Amateur Championship in Little Rock, Arkansas.

It is one of the largest amateur tournaments in the country.

Anderson, coming of a Maine Amateur Championship two weeks ago, fired a 1-under par 70 in Saturday's final round. His four-day total of 2-under par (282) left him in a four-way tie for 22nd place from a field of over 160 top amateurs from around the country.

AJ Ott from Colorado won the championship in a playoff. His scored was 10- under par.
