Bangor, OT/Orono Reach Region Finals

It will be #1 vs #2 in both Class A and Class B North Region high school hockey championship games tonight.

In Class B, #2 Old Town/Orono defeated Brewer 3-1 at Alfond Rink at Colby College in Waterville. A Tyler Wheeler powerplay goal was the game winner.

Top-ranked Waterville got past Hampden 3-0 despite Bronco goalie Cole Benner making 34 saves.

In Class A, #2 Bangor got 25 saves from senior goalie Derek Fournier as the Rams beat Cony 2-1 in Saturday's semi-final. Kodi Legassie and Nick Cowperthwaite scored the Bangor goals.

Meanwhile, top-ranked Lewiston defeated St. Dom's 4-1.

The Rams and the Blue Devils meet tonight at 6pm in Lewiston for the Class A regional final.
