Monty Rand PhotographyBangor forward Parker Sanderson has been named a semi-finalist for the Travis Roy Award which goes to the top senior class A player in the state.

Sanderson finished second in the state in scoring racking up 51 points on 25 goals and 26 assists despite missing four games with a leg injury, and helped the Rams reach the Eastern Maine Championship.

The other semi-finalists include:

  • Grant Carrier - St. Dom's - Goalie
  • Dallas Clark - Cony - Forward
  • Nick Bagley - Scarborough - Defense
  • Spence Cowand - Gorham - Forward
  • Hugh Grygiel - Falmouth - Forward
  • Cameron McLain - Cheverus - Forward

The list will be cut to four finalists in the next week, with the winner being announced at a banquet at the end of the month.
