Bears Go For Back To Back Wins

The UMaine Black Bears and the UNH Wildcats meet for the 186th time in series history when play at Cross Center in Bangor tonight.

The Black Bears are coming off a memorable win on Sunday afternoon at Hartford. The victory stopped a 13-game losing skid. It was the first road win of the season and the first America East Conference win (1-6 AE, 2-18 overall).

Meanwhile, UNH comes to town with three consecutive AE wins (4-3 AE, 11-9 overall).

Maine's freshman Kevin Little is coming off a career day against Hartford, scoring 26 points.

Wildcats freshman Tanner Leissner is coming off back-to-back AE Rookie of the Week awards.

NOTE:  The UMaine vs UNH rivalry continues tomorrow night when the UM women's hoops team host the Wildcats at Cross Center. Over the weekend, UMaine swept a two game Hockey East series with UNH.
