A season filled with injuries, inconsistency  and frustration came to an end Saturday afternoon for the UMaine football team as they dropped their finale 22-6 at New Hampshire.The Wildcats took a 13-0 lead into the locker room at halftime thanks to a Sean Goldrich touchdown pass and a 43 yard run by Dalton Crossan. Goodrich finished the game with 286 passing yards while Crossan rushed for 85.

Maine finishes the season 3-8, a season plagued by injuries and the inability to find a scoring touch on offense. Dan Collins started at quarterback and threw for 242 yards and a touchdown to John Hardy. He was intercepted twice by the UNH defense.

New Hampshire now leads the all-time series 53-43-8.
