The Black Bears have lost eight in a row and fall to 2-6 in Hockey East, 3-12-1 overall.

Maine did play well - a scoreless game until late in the second period when Blaine Byron scored to give the Bears the lead.

The River Hawks tied the game 1-1 about seven minutes into the third period.

Maine regained the lead at 11:53 of the third, only to see UML tied it 2-2 32-seconds later.

The #7 ranked River Hawks won the game with a little over a minute left in overtime...
