Bears Win At Binghamton 70-56

Make it 13 consecutive wins and 21 overall for the UMaine women's basketball team. A 70-56 win Saturday at Binghamton thanks in part to 17 points from both Liz Wood and Lauren Bodine.

The Bears shot 48% from the field and dominated in the paint scoring 40 points compared to just 18 for the Bearcats.

Maine is 13-1 in America East, tied with Albany for first place. Overall, the Bears are 21-6.

UMaine men's basketball lost at UMaryland Baltimore County 73-66. Kevin LIttle led Maine with 22 points but the Bears fall to 3-24 and 2-12 in AE.
