Bernier,14 Others Qualify For MSGA

Brewer golfer Kyle Alexander shot a 2-over par 74 at Penobscot Valley Country Club to post the best score in the Maine State Amateur Golf Championship qualifier. Alexander and 14 players qualified for next month's state championship.

Casey Catell posted the second best score - a 76. Lance Bernier and Jackie Royal tied for third with 77's.
