Blackhawks Sign Former UM’s Darling To New Deal
Two days after getting pounded by the Boston Bruins, Chicago has called up former UMaine goalie Scott Darling to start tonight vs the Florida Panthers.
And, the Blackhawks have signed Darling to a new two year contract extension.
Darling started seven game for Chicago earlier in the season and played well. A 5-2 record with a 1.97 GAA.
The 26-year-old former Black Bears has a 14-8-2 record and 2.20 GAA with Chicago's AHL team in Rockford.
Darling played for UMaine from 2008 to 2010.
