The New England Patriots are AFC East Champions for the 5th straight year and their 11th in the last 13 seasons after a 41-7 win over the Baltimore Ravens. The title was actually clinched before the Pats game started after Miami lost to the Bills earlier in the day. On this day they needed no late game comeback after taking a 17- 0 lead into the locker room on a touchdown run by Legarette Blount, a Tom Brady touchdown pass to Shane Vereen and a Stephen Gostowski field goal.

Blount scored his second touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter making it a 27-7 score, he finished the game with 76 yards to lead the Pats on the ground.

The defense played their typical bend but don't break game allowing one score and 358 yards. They did score the last two touchdowns of the game on a Chandler Jones fumble recovery and a Trevon Wilson interception return. Both scores came in the final two minutes of the game.

The Pats are now 11-4 and still hold the second seed in the AFC. They finish the regular season at home against the Bills on Sunday.

After the game Logan Mankins talked about the win and clinching the division.
