The Boston Celtics used a balanced attack to beat the Miami Heat 101-89 for their third straight win and in the process help coach Brad Stevens get his 100th win as an NBA coach.

Boston put six players in double figures led by Marcus Smarts 15 points to along with 6 assists. Jae Crowder and Evan Turner each scored 14 points while Jared Sullinger finished with a double-double which included 12 points and 12 rebounds.

With the win the third place Celtics extended their lead over the Heat to two games in the Eastern Conference standings.

Next up for the green is a home game Monday against the Utah Jazz.
