The Bowdoin College Polar Bears are out of the NCAA Division-3 tournament, losing in the first round to Oswego State of New York 4-3. Terry Meagher's Polar Bears finish the year at 17-9-2.

The Thursday afternoon game had been postponed from Wednesday night because of the snowstorm in NY.

The teams were tied 1-1 after two periods and then Bowdoin scored the next two goals. With 13 minutes to go, the Polar Bears had a 3-1 lead.

The Lakers came back, scoring three times to win 4-3 and move into the Division-3 quarterfinals.

The national semis and championship game will be hosted in Lewiston at the Colisee next Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22.
