Brewer Softball, Baseball Score Q-F Wins

The top ranked and defending champion Brewer Witches opened the 2019 postseason with a bang, bang, bang. Three home runs and a 7-2 quarterfinal win over Erskine Academy.

Jordan Goodrich, Kathryn Austin and Kenzie Dore all hit home runs for the Witches. Libby Hewes got the win in the circle.

(15-2) Brewer now plays either Oceanside or Medomak Valley in the semi-final round on Saturday.

Class B Baseball: Brewer 4  Old Town (13 Innings): The #6 Witches and #3 Coyotes played a scoreless game for 10 innings. Brewer finally pushed across two runs in the 11th but Old Town answered with two runs.

The Witches finally won it in the 13th. Trevor Pearson gets the win. Levi Williamson pitched the first nine innings and stayed under the 110 pitch limit.

Brewer now will play either Hermon or Erskine Academy.
