Brewer’s Wood Takes Home Athlete Of The Week Voting

Brewer High School senior Trey Wood has won this week's High School Athlete of the week with 42 percent of the total vote over Charlotte Messer of Camden Hills and John Hassett of George Stevens Academy.

The running back Wood helped power the Witches into the North Region title game with 299 yards on 40 carries in the 44-34 victory over Cony last week.  In addition to the almost 300 yards on the ground, Wood also scored twice and will look to continue his strong play into the championship on against Brunswick on Friday night on the road.
