The high school baseball season has surpassed the midway point, and for the first time this season Bangor and Hampden will face each other on the diamond.Jeff Fahey's Rams enter the game as the number two team on the heal point standings with an 8-2 record. The offense has scored at least three runs in every game this season and are averaging 8 per game. Their two losses have come against the number one team Messalonskee, and number three Oxford Hills.

Hampden will try to get back in the win column following a loss at Brewer on Friday. The Broncos have featured solid pitching and defense but are still trying to get momentum at the plate. Hampden is 4-5 and have lost those five games by a total of nine runs.

First pitch is at 7pm and you can hear it live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket, online at 929theticket.com, or on our free mobile app from Radio Pup.
