The already tight race for the wildcard playoff spot in the NHL east got ever tighter with Saturday results. The Boston Bruins lost 2-1 in a shootout to Florida. Ottawa won its game against Toronto.

The standings now show the slumping Bruins with a one point lead over the Senators and aa four point lead of the Panthers.

In Saturday night's loss down in Florida, it was the same old story for the B's - can't score many goals in regulation and can't score any goals in the shootout tiebreaker.

The Bruins have to turn around and play the Tampa Bay Lightning at 5pm today...
