Bruins New Backup Goalie?

The Boston Bruins have recalled Providence goalie Niklas Svedberg in time to be available for tonight's game against Ottawa at Boston Garden. The team did not say why the call up was done and apparently both Tuukka Rask and backup Chad Johnson were on the ice for today's morning skate around.

Svedberg has been viewed as Boston's next best goalie to Rask. With the AHL Providence Bruins Svedberg has an 11-5-3 record a 2.91 GAA. He was named best goalie in the AHL last season.
