Tuukka Rask recorded his third shutout of the season and Brad Marchand scored a goal as the Boston Bruins defeated the New Jersey Devils, 1-0, at TD Garden on Saturday.

Boston extended its point streak to 16 games. They're 12-0-4 over that time and haven't lost in regulation since a 3-2 loss to the New York Rangers on Jan. 19.

Marchand gave the Bruins (39-17-9) a 1-0 lead at 2:37 of the first period with a power-play goal, his 27th goal of the season.

Rask made 20 saves and extended his own point streak to 17 games, as he's 14-0-3 dating back to Dec. 29.

The Devils (25-33-8) have now lost three in a row and five of their past seven.
