Here's a question - has Boston Bruins backup goalie Anton Khudobin taken over #1 duties from Tuukka Rask?

Making his third straight start, Khudobin stopped 40 shot and 10 more stops in the shootout as the Bruins beat New Jersey 2-1 for their third straight win.

For the season, he is 6-0-2 with a 2.13 GAA and both stats are much better the Rask.

In this game Wednesday night, the B's jumped on the Devils for two quick goals, one from Patrice Bergeron and one from Jake DeBrusk.

By the end of the regulation New Jersey had tied the game 2-2.

Nothing got decided in the overtime period and so the 1-on-1 shootout was next.

Both teams scored a goal in the first shootout round.

Then it was on to sudden death shootout and it took 10 saves by Khudobin before defenseman Charilie McAvoy finally scored a goal of the NJ goalie to get the win.

The Bruins are 9-7-4 and the 22 points in the standings puts them within two points of the top-8 playoff spot.

NOTE: The Bruins play a nationally televised Black Friday afternoon game. Live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket starts at 12:30pm.
