The Boston Bruins are two days away from starting training camp and they are going to give former Detroit goalie Jonas Gustavsson a chance to be the backup to Tuukka Rask.

Gustavsson is 30-years-old, a free agent and not needed in Detroit because of former UMaine Black Bear Jimmy Howard and young rising star Petr Mrazek.

Gustavsson played in only nine games for the Red Wings last season because of injuries and so the Bruins bring him in on a tryout basis. The B's also have Malcolm Subban, Zane McIntyre and Jeremy Smith in their system. But, are any of them ready to backup Rask?
