Boston Bruins get their wish - help is on the way in the person of Jaromir Jagr.  The trade with the Dallas Stars means the Bruins will send two prospects and a draft pick in return for the future hall of famer.

Jagr is 41-years-old and has been in the NHL for 18 years. He has scored over 600 goals and 1,000 assists. This year, Jagr has 14 goals for the Stars - that total puts him in a tie for top scorer with the Bruins.

Jagr is in the last year of his contract in Dallas and after weeks of trying to hammer out an extention, the Stars made the decision to trade him today.

Several reports out of Boston say Lane MacDermid, Cody Payne and a conditional draft pick will be sent to Dallas.

Last week the Bruins thought they had a trade with Calgary for Jerome Iginla but it fell through and Iginla was traded to Pittsburgh.

The Bruins play Ottawa tonight. You will hear live coverage on SportRadio 92.9TheTicket beginning at 6:30PM.

The NHL trade deadline is tomorrow at 3 p.m.
