When the Boston Bruins take on the Montreal Canadiens tonight defenseman Adam McQuaid will not be in the lineup. In fact, he did not make the trip to Canada. McQuaid had a hip/groin injury that kept him out of the lineup for eight games. He came back to play in the last three game and apparently injured the hip again during Saturday's win over Columbus.

The Bruins and Canadiens rivalry is one of the best in sports and you can hear tonight's game on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket with a 7PM start time.

This will be the first meeting of the year between the two teams. The Bruins hold down first place in the division with an 18-7-2 record. The Canadiens are tied for second at 17-9-3.

Don't be suprised if there are not many goals scored tonight. The Bruins lead the NHL giving up just 55 goals. Montreal is not far behind, allowing only 59.
