BU's Jack Eichel scored the game winning goal in overtime against UMaine Friday night. That goal along with three assists over the weekend makes the freshman the Hockey East Player of the Week.

The win over the Black Bears and a Saturday night win over UConn moves Boston University into the nation's #1 spot in the USCHO Poll. The Terriers recieved 42 of the 50 first place votes.

For Red Gendron's 3-9-1 Bears, its back to work. A home series against Vermont is next on the schedule. The Catamounts are ranked 13th.
