Butler Scores 24,Eagles Win On Road

The Husson Eagles scored an 81-73 road win over Nichols College Monday night. It was a final tune-up for the Eagles for NAC conference play next week.

Trevon Butler scored 24 points, hauled down 9 rebounds and dished off 4 assists to lead Husson.

The Eagles bench outscored Nichols 35-12 with Raheem Anderson leading the way with 18 points.

Irving Eggelston led Nichols with 23 points.

Coach Warren Caruso's Eagles are 2-1 and begin defense of their NAC title with a matchup against Thomas College in Waterville next Tuesday.
