Caner-Medley Signs Two-Year Pro Deal
Former Maine Gatorade Player of the Year and Mr Maine Basketball, Nik Caner-Medley has signed a new deal to play professional basketball for the next season.
David Pick. Estudiantes has won three Spanish Cups, with the most recent coming in 1992.
Last season Caner-Medley played for AS Monaco and averaged 9.5 points per contest while logging just under 23 minutes a game. The forward played four years in Maryland, including starting regularly as a freshman with the Terrapins. He has been playing professional basketball since 2007.
Former Maine Black Bear Til Gloger also signed a deal to play with Mitteldeutscher BC in Germany yesterday.
Troy Barnies of Edward Little, and also a former Black Bear, just wrapped up a season with Szolnoki Olaj in Hungary where the forward averaged 11.3 points per game in league play. He has been playing abroad professionally since 2011.
