After a 20-2 week in last week's playoff picks, Ernesto is back to forecast the regional championships and 8-man state championship games to be played this weekend across the Pine Tree State.

It is playoff time in high school football. Here is who Ernie is going with this week as the football season winds down. Long-time football coach Gabby Price has been elected to the Maine Sports Hall of Fame.

Husson dominates the awards from the pool, UMF, UMPI, MMA, Thomas, and Husson have other league honors rolling in. We have the run down of the winners here.

The Maine Field Hockey team and Husson Football team had winning streaks snapped during the weekend, and Maine football kept one 5 year streak alive.

"We've had a great schedule to this point. Saturday is going to be our fifth home game and that's kind of unheard of," said Eagles' head coach Nat Clark.

Scores from the week of September 27th through 30th, and the schedules for the first weekend of October for every school in Maine.

For all indoor events the University of Maine announced face coverings will be required at least through October regardless of vaccination status.
