The Boston Celtics are a step closer to the NBA playoffs thanks to a 117-78 win over the Cleveland Cavs. The C's pounded the Cavs who rested their big four - Lebron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and J.R. Smith.

The Celts had 20 steals and that's just one away from a team record.

Isaiah Thomas led Boston with 17 points but six other players were in double digits.

After back-to-back wins over Cleveland, the Celtics are now 38-42 in 7th place in the east.

If Indiana loses to Oklahoma City tonight the C's are in the playoffs with two games left in the season.
