Celtics Clinch, Thomas Player Of Week [VIDEO]

Boston Celtics fans may want to send a thank you note to former coach Tom Thibodeau and his Chicago Bulls. Their 113-86 win over the Brooklyn Nets clinched a playoff spot for the Celts.

With two games left, tonight against Toronto and tomorrow night against Milwaukee, the Celtics are guaranteed either 7th or 8th place in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, sparkplug guard Isaiah Thomas is the Eastern Conference NBA Player of the Week award winner. In three wins last week, Thomas averaged almost 23 PPG and 6 APG.
