No Jaylen Brown. No Marcus Morris. No problem for the Boston Celtics. A 97-90 win over the Dallas Mavericks gives the Celtics a 22-4 record as they head out on a roadtrip.

Brown sat out with an inflamed eye while Morris sat with a knee issue. So, next guy up.

Off the bench guys like Shane Larkin, Daniel Theis and Terry Rozier made big time contributions. Larkin scored 11 points, Theis had a team-high 11 rebounds and Rozier had 12 points and nine rebounds.

Then there were the starters - Kyrie Irving finished with 23, including big shots down the stretch. Al Horford had 17 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. And, how about rookie Jayson Tatum with a double-double, 17 points and 10 rebounds.

The Celtics had to come back from an early third quarter 12 point deficit to grab the lead.

Now it's on to San Antonio Friday night and Detroit on Sunday afternoon. Both games are live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
