Chapman Homers Twice, Eagles Sweep

A big doubleheader day for Husson senior first baseman Alex Chapman as the Eagles swept Newbury College (MA) 16-7 and 12-2 on the road Saturday evening.

GAME 1: Chapman smashed his second home run of the season in game one. He had three hits and drove in two runs. Conor Maguire had three hits and three RBI.

The Eagles pounded out 15 hits.

Alex Brooks gave the win in relief.

GAME 2: Chapman ripped another home run in game two. Ethan Stoddard also had a home run as part of a two hit game.

Kobe Rogerson and Conor Maguire each had three hits.

Ryan Allender got the win on the hill.

The Eagles improve to 7-6 and play at Mitchell College in Connecticut tomorrow.
