The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs were locked in a scoreless game with less than three minutes to go. That's when 6-foot-9 inch Zdeno Chara stepped in from his point position and blasted a shot past goalie James Reimer for the game winner.

The 1-0 lead held and Brad Marchand added an empty-netter and the B's had a 2-0 win.

That means back-to-back home wins for the Bruins for the first time this year.

Tuukka Rask made 22 saves to get his 28th career shutout.

The B's are now 10-8-1.
