Husson University athletics director Frank Pergolizzi says he wants to name a replacement for football coach Gabby Price quickly and that replacement could very well be Eagles assistant head coach Nat Clark.

Clark has been named interim head coach and he says it would be an honor if he was selected to be the next head coach taking over for Price.

He played his high school football at Bangor High School under then Rams coach Gabby Price. Clark went on to play his college football at UMaine under coach Jack Cosgrove.

He been coaching for 19 years, the last 12 years with the Husson football program. Clark has been the offensive line coach and special teams coordinator.

Pergolizzi says a decision on a new coach could come as soon as late next week.
