Clifford:NBA Top April Coach

Charlotte Bobcats coach Steve Clifford has been named NBA East Conference Coach of The Month for April. His Bobcats went 7-1 in this last month of the season, the best winning percentage in franchise history.

The former UMaine Farmington player and Woodland HS coach has guided the Bobcats to a playoff spot in his first year as head coach. Clifford and his Cats will be the #7 seed and take on #2 Miami in the NBA Playoffs starting this weekend.

Charlotte has the second best record in the east since the allstar break (20-9) and the 43-39 overall regular season record is a 22-game turnaround over last year.
