The horse Creator won the 148th running of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday afternoon by one of the most narrow margins.  With the win, the owners of the horse will split $1.5 million.

Creator and Destin ran neck and neck until the finish when the former took the win in a photo finish.  The horse is part-owned by celebrity chef Bobby Flay who could be seen celebrating in the stands after the win.

Favorite Exaggerator, who is part owned by the Kerr Family out of Old Orchard Beach, had a disappointing run and finished in 11th place overall.  The conclusion of the Belmont wraps up the third leg of the Triple Crown races.  Nyquist won the Kentucky Derby before losing to Exaggerator in the Preakness in the other two legs.
