Husson Eagles defensive lineman Luke Washburn is Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Player of the Week. He was a big part of a defense that held Alfred State to 43 yards of total offense in Saturday's 35-0 win.

Washburn, a 6-3, 250 pound junior from Oak Hill HS, had five tackles, including two sacks.

Through three games, Washburn has 15 tackles and four sacks.

Taylor Morang - Men's Golf Player of the Week 
Morang scored a top performance as he ended up tied for first as the Eagles earned first out of nine teams at the Husson Invitational this past weekend. The sophomore carded a 147 (74-73) to tie for medalist honors out of 47 total golfers.

Tyler Swarthout - Men's Golf Rookie of the Week 
Swarthout had a strong rookie performance as the Eagles earned the team title over eight other team's at their Invitational this past weekend. He shot a 153 (75-78) tying for tenth out of 47 golfers.

Kaitlin Dolloff - Field Hockey Defender of the Week
Dolloff had a solid performance in the Eagles' opening conference win against Thomas. The senior played all 70 minutes between the pipes, while making five saves and allowing just one goal in a 2-1 win over the Terriers. The keeper posted an .833 save percentage and 1.00 gaa on the week. 

Meridith Blessard - Tennis Player of the Week
Blessard had a great week as the Eagles went 2-0 in conference play. The sophomore recorded a 4-0 week, winning 6-1, 6-0 and 6-4, 6-0 against the No. 1 players at Green Mountain and Castleton. In No. 2 singles, Blessard claimed an 8-2 win over the Eagles and then played the No. 1 doubles position against the Spartans and claimed an 8-3 win.
