Nationally ranked Duke doubled up on the UMaine women's team in the first two quarters and went on to beat the Black Bears 69-39 at Cameron Indoor Stadium last night.

Coach Joanne Palombo McCallie's Blue Devils out scored Maine 20-10 in the first quarter and 18-9 in the second quarter.

Duke is one of the nation's best three point shooting teams and was 7-for-15 (47%). Lexie Brown led the Blue Devils with 26 points.

Maine had a miserable night shooting, 13-for-65 (20%) and 6-for-43 from threes (14%). Blanca Millan had 16 to lead the Bears.

Duke is now 9-2. Maine is 6-6.
