Eagles Advance To Winners Bracket

   The Husson Eagles knocked off Colby-Sawyer 1-0 in their opening game of the North Atlantic Conference Tournament.The game turned into a pitchers duel between Husson's Brandon Reilly who earned the complete game win, and the Chargers Kevin Keith who is the conference Pitcher of the Year. Reilly earns his 5th win of the season while striking out 5.

The lone run of the game came in the bottom of the 8th when Player of the Year Shawn Smith singled in Cody Mcinnis.

Husson will now take on Thomas College who beat the host Castleton State 12-6 in the winners bracket game Saturday at 12 noon.
