The Husson University basketball teams swept Colby-Sawyer at Newman Gymnasium to get key conference wins.The Husson men beat the Chargers 108-63 and set a new school record with 17 3-pointers in the game breaking the old mark of 15. They also set a new record for 3-point shooting percentage after making 17 of 22 for a 77.3% clip. Trevon Butler led six Eagles in double figures with 18 points including 5 for 5 beyond the arch. The win improves their record to 12-0 overall and 6-0 in conference play.

The Husson women knocked off the Chargers who were the number two team in the conference by a 50-46 score. Rebecca Young scored a team high 10 points while Vicki McIntyre added 9. Husson built a 17 point lead in the second half only to see the Chargers come storming back to get within 4 with just over a minute to play. McIntyre hit four key free throws down the stretch to seal the win and put the Eagles conference record at 4-2. The win was also the 399th of Coach Kissy Walkers career.
