Eagles Sweep Through Vermont

The Husson University basketball teams had a successful trip to Vermont with each picking up two wins to sweep the weekend.Warren Caruso's men's team got a game high 28 points from Trevon Butler and another 20 from Raheem Anderson on their way to a 92-88 win over Johnson State. Butler also had 10 rebounds and 6 assists to help the Eagles improve to 13-3 in the North Atlantic Conference and 17-5 overall. Jacob Moore was the other Husson player in double figures with 17 points.

The Husson women posted their 12th conference win cruising to a 67-42 win over Johnson State. Senior Stephanie Comstock paced the Eagles with a game high 16 points while Vicki McIntyre posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Husson will close out the regular season with their final two conference games this week. They travel to play UMaine Farmington on Wednesday and host Thomas College Saturday.
