When the UMaine hockey team plays BU Friday night at Alfond Arena, the Bears will be playing the #3 team in the nation. And, the Terriers have the leading point getter in Hockey East, freshman Jack Eichel.

The USCHO poll puts BU(5-1-1) at #3 in the country, behind Minnesota and North Dakota.

Maine got swept in Vermont last weekend and sit at 3-6-1 (2-2 HE).

The Terriers have a real talent in former USA Under-18 standout Eichel. In his first seven college games, he has five goals and eight assists to lead HE with 13 points. Many hockey observers believe he will be one of the top picks in next summer's NHL amateur draft.

Eichel is already a two time winner of the Hockey East Rookie of the Week award.
