It felt like a playoff game last night as the Philadelphia 76ers finally beat the Boston Celtics 118-115. There was drama from start to finish.

To begin with, the Celtics played again without Gordon Hayward, out with concussion issues.

Then, C's bigman Aron Baynes went down with an ankle injury in the first half and did not return.

In the third quarter, Marcus Smart got kicked out of the game for shoving Joel Embiid after a foul call.

And still Boston had the lead.

Until Embiid took over, followed by Jimmy Butler acting as the closer.

Embiid finished with 37 points and 22 rebounds while Butler scored 15 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter.

Kyrie Irving led the Celtics with 36.

In the end, the C's couldn't combat the free threw difference. Philly went 39-for-43 while the Celtics went 13-for-16.
