Longtime broadcaster Dick Enberg is this year's MLB Ford C. Frick Award winner. The award is for excellence in baseball broadcasting.

The 79-year-old Enberg will be honored during Hall of Fame ceremonies next summer.

The list of ten finalists this year included the late Ned Martin, the long time Red Sox broadcaster.

Enberg broadcasts San Diego Padre games now. His career includes broadcasting many of the biggest sports events over the years for NBC and CBS networks.

The award is named after former National League president and broadcaster Ford Frick.
