Endicott Beats USM At Regional 7-6

THe University of Southern Maine Huskies scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th and had the bases loaded but the rally stopped there. Endicott 7 USM 6. They will play at noon on Sunday in a winner-take-all NCAA regional championship game.

The winner earns a berth in the Division-3 College World Series. The USM Huskies were at CWS last year and finished as the national runner-up.

The loss Saturday night to Endicott is the first in the regional being played in Harwich, Massachusetts. It puts the USM record at 34-13. Enidcott is 34-15.
