The Anaheim Ducks have traded former UMaine player Dustin Penner to the Washington Capitals for a fourth round draft pick. This is one of many trades around the NHL that could be coming with the trade deadline set for tomorrow at 3pm ET.

Penner signed a one year, $2 million dollar deal with the Ducks at the start of this season. He has 13 goals and 32 points in 49 games this year.

Penner has been a power forward on two Stanley Cup teams, one with Anaheim and one with LA.

He has played in 571 NHL games.
