Former Nokomis High School basketball star Chris Braley has ended his career as a Stony Brook basketball player. After two seasons with the Seawolves Braley has asked for and received permission to transfer to another school according to several published reports, including the school newspaper which got confirmation from the athletic department.

If Braley transfers to another division I school he must sit out a year. If he transfers to another America East school he would also lose a year of eligibility. A move to a division II or III school would not require sitting out a season.

Braley played in 23 games this past season averaging 1.5 points and 2 rebounds per game.

In high school Braley scored 1,000 points in just three seasons at Nokomis before playing his senior season at Phillip Exeter Academy where he helped his team post a 25-1 record.
