Tampa Bay goalie Ben Bishop pulled himself out of Monday's game after the first period. The team is only saying it is a "lower body" injury and that they will not rush him back into the lineup.

The former UMaine goalie has been a workhorse for the Lightning with a 16-6-2 record and a goals against average of 2.35. He was a Vezina Trophy finalist last year.

The Lightning lead the Atlantic Division with a 20-10-3 record.
