Matt Fraser wasn't supposed to be in the Boston Bruins lineup Saturday night but was a late replacement for David Krejci. He made the most of his time scoring 2 goals 1:28 apart in the second period to help Boston beat Ottawa 4-2.Krejci participated in warm-ups but was scratch right before the game giving Fraser his first chance to play since October 18. With the game tied at 2 midway through the second period Fraser took a pass from Loui Eriksson to give the Bruins a lead. One minute 28 seconds later he made it a 2-goal cushion. Denis Seidenberg would cap off the scoring with his first goal of the season in the third period.

Tuukka Rask got the win in goal stopping 27 of the 29 shots he faced.
